Can you use a P75 ECU for the Hondata? Or will I have to get the P28? I think the P75 is OBD1 but I'm not sure....
Thanks

Sorry this is over my expertise. Please call one of HonData's authorized dealers for a correct answer or post in this forum as it has some of the best technical people that I have seen!

Steven, what kind of "boost" package is included...the regular up to 9psi or do we have a choice of picking? If not, and we want to go with the GM map, how much more? I'm planning to use Endyn stepper pulley and probably will see more than 9psi...
BTW, would it be possible to incorporate the AEM fpr into the group buy purchase? Or an option of getting an AEM FPR instead of Hondata gasket is cool too

ok.. i looked into it some more... I'll just post the price list from Hondata's website here:
Stage Price Description
1 No longer available
2 $345 Factory VTEC controller, user adjustable rev limits, shift light and speed limiter removed
3 $495 Two stage rev limiter for drag launch, full throttle shift + all stage 2 features
4 $895 Real time datalogging and ROMeditor for custom fueling and ignition maps + all stage 3 features
2b $645 Factory VTEC controller, user adjustable revlimits mapped for up to 29 lb boost + shift light
3b $790 Two stage rev limiter for drag launch and full throttle shift, mapped for boost + all stage 2b features
4b $1190 Datalogging and ROMeditor for custom fueling and ignition maps for boost + all stage 3b features
Installation charge to upgrade your ECU $50. (no cores)
Upgrades (not available separately)
Datalogging $250 Upgrade for stage 2 and 3 ( $200 if purchased with a system)
Boost $345 (stock MAP sensor) 11lb upgrade for stages 2, 3 and 4 ( $295 if purchased with a system)
Boost $445 (replacement MAP sensor) 29lb upgrade for stages 2, 3 and 4 ( $395 if purchased with system)
The GB price for Stage 2b (boost only) is the EXACT same as their retail price, however you get the intake manifold gasket for free. So you save $60.. better deal than if you just got stage 2 without boost. Not necessarily fair for those that aren't boosted.
Stage 3 without boost you are in essence only saving $10 as well. With boost you save $60 since the price is the same at $790 but you are getting the gasket for free.
The same deal hold true for stage 4 with and without boost.
Doesn't sound like much of a savings to me, especially if you aren't boosted. For any stage if you are getting the NO BOOST option, you are saving $10 and shipping fees.
Can someone clarify if i'm being misled here? Thanks.

Doug's base map for the supercharged Type R was done with an FPR that did not rise under boost. It was the stock FPR with a B&M top and I watched the fuel pressure gauge as Doug ran the car on the dyno.
It seems that some Honda/Acura FPR's do rise under boost and some don't.
Most of the maps out there are designed around FPR's like the AEM for Vortech that rise 1:1 with boost.
The safest option is to get a 1:1 rising regulator since they can always be made to not rise by hooking them to a vacuum only source. Later on, you can tune it out of your system and sell it. In the end, it's a matter of preference. Having the 1:1 regulator allows lower base pressure and less peak duty cycle. Not having the regulator saves you some money.
I am running the stock pump in my car. Idle pressure is 34 psi, static is 44 psi, max is 53 psi.

The P75 is the 92-95 Integra GS OBD1 ECU. Yes, it will work, but some changes need to be made to it so that it can control VTEC.

Crescent, you're right..saving isn't much but it's better than nothing...yes, you basically save around $60 on the boost stage, plus $50 on the ECU installation, and if you buy the RC 440cc, you'll save some there as well..plus shipping fees...so by my rough calculation, you'll end up saving AROUND $150 with the GB if you're getting the whole package....

If anyone doesn't want to wait, I'm returning my car to stock and will sell my Stage 2 w/boost P28 for your stock P28 (manual) and $550.
